This new caving activity at Les Coves de Sant Josep offers the opportunity to explore an unexplored part of the cave that has never before been open to the public. This special experience allows participants to embark on a truly unique tour and discover the cave’s hidden corners, guided by professional guides who will share their knowledge of the cave’s geology and history.

In addition to discovering Europe’s longest navigable underground river, it’s an exciting opportunity to venture on a more caving-focused tour for those seeking a more adventurous experience.


In addition to exploring Europe’s longest navigable underground river, this is an exciting opportunity to embark on a more caving-oriented tour for those seeking a more adventurous experience.

Tour details:

Duration: Approximately 3 hours.

Group size: Minimum 6 people, maximum 16 people.

Recommended minimum age: 12 years and older when accompanied by an adult, up to 65 years old. (Participants over 65 must provide a medical certificate).

Meeting point with the guides: At the entrance to Coves de Sant Josep.

Recommended gear for the tour: boots or athletic shoes with soles in good condition that can get wet. Clothing or swimwear to wear under the wetsuit. A change of clothes and a towel in case you wish to use the showers.

Safe tour: the tour allows for optimal social distancing among participants. Additionally, all equipment is sanitized before each use and tour.

The tour includes: all necessary individual equipment for the activity, kayak, paddle, wetsuit, wetsuit socks, helmet, and access to changing rooms.

Also included are professional guides, liability insurance, accident insurance, and VAT.

No prior experience is required; the instructors will teach you how to handle the kayak. You only need to know how to swim and not be claustrophobic.
