On the last
Saturday of each month you will have the opportunity to see the paintings,
engravings and other prehistoric finds on the Coves de Sant Josep pier that
date back to the Palaeolithic era, around 17,000 years ago. You will find a
rich ethnological and archaeological heritage framed in an extraordinary
natural spot.
Later you
will walk up to the “Poblado de Sant Josep” archaeological site, located above
the entrance to Coves de Sant Josep. It is a unique tourist resource dating
from the 6th century BC. until the 5th century AD.
During the
guided tour, the group (maximum 15 people) will be accompanied by a
professional tour guide through the interior of the pier and the Iberian
settlement of Sant Josep.
The visit
lasts approximately 1h 30 minutes.
Guided
tours are usually carried out in Spanish.

Children
under 13 years old do not pay admission.
